The tornado rips though the houses just like a
kid pulling apart some play dough,
It continues throwing pieces of roofing tin
hundreds of metres away just to express its anger and feelings
the tornado continues down its path
like its hunting for something or someone
whos destination is unknown

The thing that pushes us to see whats over that hill,
The thing that keeps us interested,
The thing that makes you want to know what, when and where,
The thing that gives you that sense of adventure,
The thing that makes you look in the cupboard for food,
The thing that makes you turn the next page,
Curiousity is the thing that makes you reach further.
I don't understand
Why I love hockey,
why I enjoy maths when my sister hates it,
why I play rugby when i don't know most of the rules
but most of all...
why my sister can be angry with me and then happy with me in the same day,
why nobody has invented a hydrogen powered car,
why cats and dogs get angry at each other,
but I do understand
why we have to do homework,
why school is important,
and why living in New Zealand is so great.
Just Beacuse.

It doesn't meen im scared of rugby
Or even soccer
Just because I play hockey
It doesn't meen I'm weak
It doesn't meen I am a girl
Just because I play hockey
It doesn't meen you can tease me and say I'm weak
It doesn't meen I can't be good at other sports
Just because I play hockey -- it's part of who I am.

comes straight in to the air with a warm welcome,
it sits there heating up the earth
waiting untill it's turn is over
Then as quickly as it came it's gone.
I see the coins scattered on the bench.
I smell the freshly cooked pie.
I hear the microwave beeping.
I feel the coldness of the freezer.
I taste the hotdogs to check if they are ready.
I think it needs some more sauce.
